Great insight. Too bad it only goes up to May 2008. It would be nice if Nomi would do an addendum to the current time (Sep 2008).

Agreed. By June it was clear the failures were coming, but by that point I think everyone in legislative knew it was too big to resolve with just a simple appropriation. Better to let the shit hit the fan; serves the interests of both parties.
