I’m a gadget geek. I travel. I take walks. I ponder the balance of the planet. II know a thing or two about creme anglais. I try to program with vision.
HISTORY: In 1978, I started a band with some friends that became The Lizerds, Bakersfield’s first punk band. Released a self-recorded single called Is It Late? in 1981 that ended up in some collections and finally onto a Killed By Death compilation (#12). In the early 80s, I programmed, arranged and performed on some early West Coast rap records with DJ Flash and The Future MC’s, doing some synth session work along the way for commercials and various dance artists. Some of it is now available as ring tones in Russia. Oh boy.
I completed an apprenticeship in European pastry and baking, creating cakes and pastries for celebrities such as the cast of Days Of Our Lives, Culture Club, as well as political figures in California and Washington DC.
In 1992, I began working with technology exclusively. Along the way, I engineered one of the first data exchanges into the former Soviet Union and collaboratively produced one of the first contests for the Web. Since then I’ve produced sites and data syndications for Fortune 100 companies, Wall Street firms and healthcare providers. Usually, it’s stuff that is new and innovative.
I specialize in creating or adapting business strategy into structured data that is search-engine friendly (SEO). I work with individuals and companies to manage their taxonomies and reputations and help them market cleanly. And I work with vendors to collect performance data, assess results and provide recommendations.
